I am very single minded lately. I used to be a traditional artist working in watercolors and colored pencil, it never really went anywhere. I also rescue animals. I took 8 years off to raise my 3 beautiful children, Harrison 9, Mira and Mia,8. Now they are in school and don't need me as much. So at the beginning of this year, 2006. I started drawing again. For some reason, only God Knows, I decided to take my designs and make them into quilts. It has gone over so well I won't ever go back to other mediums. I create art quilts that represent the passion I have for animals.

I'm pretty boring because all I do now is quilt, play with my kids and pets and quilt. Oh, occasionally read, but mostly about quilting.

The people I have met in the quilting world have been beautiful. They are as warm and cozy as the quilts we make.

I hope that I can save animals by showing people the animals I love on my quilts. If they see a beautiful animal maybe they might want to find out more about that animal and in doing so want to save them too. Part of all money I make on my quilts will go to help people who can not get veterinarian care for their animals.
